Breaking Invisible Heirlooms Through MedAlien

We live in a generation where passing down trauma has become an invisible heirloom. Chaos is mistaken for comfort, while true peace often feels threatening. Over time, our minds have been rewired to normalise toxic behaviours, whilst rejecting stillness and harmony as foreign or unsafe.

I know this cycle deeply — because I’ve lived it.

MedAlien

Awakening the Alien within you means knowing which heirlooms to carry forward in their glory, and which to transmute into the gold that fuels your evolution and lifestyle - Dr Palvi Maharaj

From a young age, I was the black sheep of my family. At the time, it felt like rejection; in hindsight, it was a blessing. My resistance to conformity was the first sign of my inner child asking me to evolve and build my own individuality.

I made mistakes, as we all do, but my turning point came back when I began looking inward. Through self-reflection and many trials and errors, I realised my shifting between introverted isolation and extroverted bursts wasn’t a flaw – it was part of my process of becoming who I am, an Alien. I was always ahead of my time, and for years I felt like the world never understood me. Now, slowly, I see the world catching up.

Medicine Beyond Borders

My passion for healing led me into medicine, but my heart was never satisfied with one system alone. Western medicine is brilliant at identifying and labelling diseases, but too often it masks symptoms instead of addressing the root.

Over time, I began noticing something deeper in the West: people often chase healing like a rabbit – fast, urgent, and desperate for instant results and cures. Pills, procedures, and quick fixes are expected to solve complex disease patterns overnight. In contrast, the East approaches certain healing methods like the turtle – slow, steady, patient, and intentional. The turtle may not be flashy, but it creates long-lasting transformation by working with the body, not against it.

When the two worlds meet – the precision of the rabbit and the endurance of the turtle – healing takes on a new dimension. We begin not only to treat the illness but also to transform lifestyles. It becomes less about racing for relief and more about walking the path of sustainable alignment.

This integration of healing isn’t just intellectual for me: it’s personal. Living with scoliosis and limited hearing issues has shaped my path. My physical condition limited my ability to explore certain workout routines and forms. There were days of frustration when my body felt like a cage. But it also taught me resilience and forced me to seek alternatives – yoga, callisthenics, and Pilates – that nourished me in ways weights never could.

My body’s limit became my teacher, showing me the necessity of merging approaches instead of depending on one system alone.

As I dove deeper into astrology, I began seeing my struggles and resilience reflected in my chart. The tension of Saturn, the healing promise of Jupiter, and the karmic imprints of nakshatras – all gave me language for what the soul already knew. Astrology didn’t replace medicine, Ayurveda, or psychology. NO! It gave me context…

It showed me that healing is never just physical or mental – it’s cosmic! 👽

The Birth of MedAlien

All of these threads – trauma, medicine, scoliosis, astrology, Ayurveda, and spirituality – eventually wove themselves into MedAlien.

MedAlien isn’t just a brand or blog. It’s a movement born from the belief that healing is multi-dimensional. That trauma can be transmuted, that East and West can work together, that our charts hold clues to our health, and that every human being has the right to align with their highest self.

This platform is my offering – part story, part science, part stardust.

Because healing is not just about treating the body or mind.

It is about remembering the alien within us – the part that doesn’t quite fit in, yet was never meant to…
